Hello Experts,
How does XI/PI gets the mandatory elements when importing BAPI? Is there any table in SAP from where we can get that? If not how?
Thanks,
Sandhya
Hi Sandhya,
When we import BAPI/RFC/IDOC in PI there attributes indicating whether it is manditory or not are also get imported you need not maintain any table for that in PI.
You just take them in any Message Mapping, If the node is red then it is Manditory else it is optional (Viewing in XSD is bit difficult).
thanks

While importing the RFCs structure in IR, PI imports the attributes of the elements too. There the occurrences of individual elements are specified. The details therefore need not be saved in separate tables. You may view it in the xsd format at External Definitions.
