b2c product not including MWST tax on product page

Hi,

We are currently implmenting B2C on a CRM 5.0 system but have hit a strange snag! We have a development system and a quality system set up (with the same nwdi setup).

In Dev the product detail page displays the product including VAT. However on Quality the product price is not including VAT. The VAT is only displayed when you place the order.

Does anyone know where in config the prices displayed include VAT? I have searched the shop and catalog but cant find this anywhere.

Regards, Paul

Hi Paul,

this question is not easy to answer. First let me ask a few questions in return to better help you on this:

1. Does the problem only occurs in the Web Catalog in the Q-System or do you also not see the VAT in the basket?

2. Do you use the TTE for tax calculation? If so, is the TTE configured correctly in the Q-System?

2. Did you already switch on in your Q-System the price analysis in the Web shop? You can do so via the Extended Configuration Management (XCM). If you select your customer specific XCM scenario you will find the UI component. This component contains the parameter "enable.priceAnalysis". If you swtch this to the value "True" you will be ably to analyse the prices shown in the catalog and in the basket. Please switch this on and check what the result of the analysis is (by simply clicking on the price in the catalog). Most important it will tell you which pricing procedure was used.

When knowing the pricing procedure that was used in the web catalog please compare the pricing procedures used in your web catalog in the Dev and in the Q-System. The order of the conditions in the pricing procedure might already change the pricing behaviour in the web catalog. Also compare your catalog variant settings between DEV and Q. Also check your reference customer setup in the Q-system. Are the tax group settings accurate?

Hi Torsten,

thanks for the reply... I tried to perform the items you discussed - see below

1. Does the problem only occurs in the Web Catalog in the Q-System or do you also not see the VAT in the basket? the VAT is added in the basket

2. Do you use the TTE for tax calculation? If so, is the TTE configured correctly in the Q-System? Could you confirm what this is - I have not specifically switched it on or configured it to my knowledge

2. Did you already switch on in your Q-System the price analysis in the Web shop? You can do so via the Extended Configuration Management (XCM). Please switch this on and check what the result of the analysis is (by simply clicking on the price in the catalog). Most important it will tell you which pricing procedure was used.

I tried this and restarted both the dev and qs applications but i couldn't see where the pricing procedure was displayed - is there any thing additional you need to get this working??

Hi Paul,

the TTE is the [Transaction Tax Engine|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/EN/39/88e93a2876a81ae10000000a11402f/frameset.htm] that can be used to calculate the Tax. The TTE is triggered by the condition 0TTE.

How to switch on the Price Analysis is explained in detail in the SAP Note 1005377. But to my knowledge it does not list any other todo than switching the mentioned parameter to True.

After switching on the Price Analysis there is no extra field or so in the JSP that shows you the pricing procedure. Instead you will see that the price shown in the catalog or in the basket is now shown as a hyperlink. When clicking on that hyperlink a new window will be shown in which information such as the pricing procedure used to determine the price and the conditions used for the price calculation are shown. The information shown in the window itself such as the pricing procedure is typically clickable to see more details such as what parameters have been used for an individual condition that was determined.

Hi,

thanks for the info. I tried this and this resulted in the error you can see on this question.

I can confirm we are not using TTE so this can be ruled out. My colleague informs me that the ref business partner is the same so I am really at a loss as to what this can be.

Any ideas how to get the pricing working? Maybe this is a clue if they are not working.
