CATS and WBS

Hi All,

We are implementing CATS Classic without ESS and the times would come from the Time Recording system as raw data.Its an SAP certified system and so there is a standard interface from it to CATS.

We want to transfer the data from CATS to HR/PS.For PS I think there is a way to default the WBS using a User-Exit.It would be great if anyone can throw some light as to how the WBS can be deafuted in CATS Data entry profile. And would also like to know about the importance of worklist.

Exit 'EXIT_SAPLCATS_002' to fill WBS element in CAT2 , This is the best possible option

Hi Bala,

Thank you for the response.I understand that it can be transfered via CAT6 but my concern was how can we default the WBS in the Data Entry profile.There are many User-Exit but which one would be the appropriate one.

And IT0315 I have given values so that the CO.AR and Activity type should get defaulted.But its not..great if you could suggest.
