Memo field is truncating Crystal 2008 with Access 2003 database

I have a memo field on the report that is truncating the characters in the field to 255 characters. It is resizing (Can Grow is checked) and if I narrow the width the field does resize in height. I have verified the text exists in the database, but I cannot get it to show on the Crystal Report. I suspect this is an issue with Access as I have never had this issue with other data sources. Any help??
