Data in Company xxxx is not maintained error

Hi,

I am getting the "data in company code xxxx is not maintained" error while creating controlling area and assigning the company code to controlling area.

Navigation: IMG->Enterprise Structure->Definition-> Controlling->Maintain Controlling Area

Could you please clarify this issue and what setting should be changed and where.

Hi

After creating the company code, go to t. code OBY6( Company code Global data) and maintain the company code,company,chart of accounts,fiscal year,posting year variant field status variant etc.

check and inform

You need to enter Global Parameters. Make sure the Chart of Accounts and Fiscal Year Variant is entered.

Path- SPRO>IMG>Financial Accounting>Financial Accounting Global Settings>Global Parameters for Company Code>Enter Global parameters.

Use t.code OKKP and Assign the company code to the controlling area
