Transaction group field in vov8

1.what is the use of transaction group filed in vov8? where we need to define it in the spro ?

2. Is there any relation between transaction group and screen sequence group fields in vov8?

Hi,

The Transaction group field controls the transaction code for creating the document of that document type.

The table T180 contains the transaction group, transaction code and program as well as screen for it.

So if a particular Transaction group is assigned to a document type, then the document can only be created with the Tcode which is related to it in database table T180.
