I see most of the calendars in our system (4.7) are end dated to 2010. Does any one know whether the default calendar start /end dates are 1990 to 2010?
I am planning to extend them by 5 to 10 years. Do I need to take any special precautions? I am aware that calendars are client independent.
Does SAP provides calendars as a note that can be downloaded and transported??
Any advice highly appreciated.
Hi,
SAP is not providing the calendars as like a notes, we need to define this in each clients. It is not transportable. This factory calendar validity is as per the requirement we are defining manually. Normally the calendars were maintained for current year and additionally for 3 or 5 years.

Hi
In 4.7 version if the factory calendar end date is 2010 then it might be standard SAP delivered by default. So when you configure your own Factory calendar then you can extend that year (say upto 2030) and then save it and you can activate it and assign that factory calendar in the required areas

Hi
You can create your own factory calendar and then change the end year and then first of all you need to configure holiday days and then working days also.
You need to transport the data if you are configuring a new factory calendar or you have to transport the data if you are changing the standard factory calendar also
