Dear Experts,

my client requirement is what all materialas comes first should be issuied first for production. Here the storage location is one location per material. How to differentiate in storage loc which material is recieved first so that it can be issued.

Is any storage storage bin is required or it is possible in MM. If it is possible please explain the necessary steps.

you can do FIFO only if you separate the stocks. This can be done with batch management or by storing the different receipts apart from each other in WM.

In WM there is a report that tells you how long the stock is in a certain bin.

With batch management you dont necessarily need to use WM, and you can use batch determination and SAP will propose the oldest batch.

It is possible using batch management. Using sort rule you can consume based on FIFO method.
