Automatic batch determination

Hi All,

Very High priority issue. Please help at the earliest.

I am using auto batch det at delivery level wherein i have ticked del item cat for batch det.

When I am creating delivery for plant 1 with mat x and cust y the system automatically gets the batch det.

But when i creat delivery for plant 2 with same mat x and cust y the system doesn't bring the batch no automatically, rather gives message "Strategy contains no selection specifications - Message no. LB007"

Note that the sales org, distn ch and div are same for both the plants. Sales doc type is diff for plant 1 and plant 2.

Batch search procedure assigned to sales area and both sales doc type with batch check activation.

Cond record maintained for both plants.

Kindly advice whats going wrong.

Hi,

check in Material master sales general plant data and pant store data -1 and again check for the delivery item catagory item catagory assignment.

Please check your settings with respect to the plant 2 in Material Maaster the Classification tab, Batch Management (Sales ; General Plant) and In Purchasing it is checked or not .

Hi,

PLz check your Create batch search statergy in VCH1(change t-code is vch2)

In this transaction you have to give customer,material,plant and batch.

may be you might have maintained for only one plant.

Do create search statergy for second plant also.This may solve your issue.

Correct or revert me if iam wrong/right.

Just check "classification" tab in MM03 data with reference to plant 2.

Check your settings for sort rule in Tcode CU70 and strategy in V/C1.
