Custom IT Creation - Generate screens?

Hi all,

I have created my custom IT sucessfully using PM01. I do not like the look of the Single Screen that was generated. My question is: If I make changes to the Single Screen, could they be wiped out if someone regenerates the objects for this custom IT in the future? If so, what would be the correct step to avoid this? Create my own Single Screen with my modifications?
