Where Are My Nodes

I went to RSA1 -> Source Systems and r-clicked on my BI "self" system and chose "Display Datasource Tree". But I see a bunch of my objects under "Unassigned Nodes" and that is the only node I have.

How do I get the other nodes I need?

Mike

HI

If you have DS assigned from Myself Source system it will display with the Other Nodes too, But if you are seeing only the Unassigned nodes means You never used any other Application Component for myself ..

Hope it helps and clear

In the header, just above all nodes of infosources, Right click -> Insert lost nodes and then refresh the entire tree.

You will get all your nodes.

Yes, I remember seeing this but I can't find it today.

So, RSA1 -> Source Systems -> r-click "myself" BI Source System -> Display DataSource Tree.

I see 1 node called "Unassigned Nodes". If I r-click on it I see:

Change

Delete

Create app component

Create Datasource

I'm not see the Insert Lost nodes anywhere.

Thanks,

Mike

Ok, so I noticed on RSA5/RSA6 that I didn't have any nodes there either, so I executed tcode: SBIW and transferred the component hierarchy.

Then I r-clicked on the BI "myself" system and "replicated the datastores",

Then I r-clicked on the DataSource -> Unassigned Nodes and selected "replicate meta-tree".

Then I could see my nodes.
