Appointments pane is not available under Ticket TI Activities tab

Dear Experts,

We have a business need to have create a follow up Activity of type appoinment from Ticket overview page(TI).

I see only Tasks and Phone calls in the activities tab of Ticket TI .

Is it a standard process to see only tasks and phone calls in tickets or do we need to do something to enable Appointments pane in Activiteis tab of Tickets.
