ALV for BDC

I have read the various BDC posts on ALV recording and if possible can the below be done

The BDC stops on a ALV grid where a record should be selected and post button pressed, BDC is not doing that.

Is there any way we can code in the lsmw so that I can make that happen.

BDC, LSMW, and ALV all-in-one?! What are you trying to do exactly? Please elaborate on the context of this question.

Hi Rohan,

Is recommended identifying if any BDC can be replaced for BAPI which can perform so much better.

SAP transaction BAPI as well.

Did you tried record BDC steps in SHDB transaction with "Simulate backgroun run" option? Because it will display ALV Grid different way (as a List) There is a chance that you can record select line + press button action with this option and use it in your BDC code.
