Upgrade downtime SAP ME 6.0 to 15.1

Hi,

I am planning an upgrade from SAP ME 6.0 to SAP ME 15.1 and have done test upgrade on a small test system.

My biggest concern is the Configuration Wizard script
"SAP ME Database and data migration for upgrade" for the production systems. The biggest size we have is 600 GB for WIP and 2TB for ODS. Our test system took about 15 minutes for WIP sized 15 GB and almost empty ODS

Can anyone give me an estimate for the downtime when the upgrade db configuration script is running on a big sized db? Is it scalable so I can assume that my number of about 1 min/GB is valid?

Without knowing where your largest data sets are inside each databasse, and what the upgrade code is actually doing, it's very difficult to extrapolate this. Can you get a copy of one production WIP and ODS database to test? That will give you the best estimate.
