Business Objects 5.1.7 Send report to Email

Hi Guys

I'm looking to automate a report to send to an email group. It already automatically copies the output of the report to another drive, but I'm not sure where to even start on getting it to email contacts

Any ideas?

Hi Mark,

Following solution might help you to resolve the issue.

User profiles and the repository are set up by the BusinessObjects supervisor. All you

have to do to send a report is as follows:

Use this command... To...

Send To>Users Send the report to individual users. When they receive

the report, they remove it from the repository

Send To>Repository Send the report to groups of users. The report stays in

the repository until the sdministrator removes it.

Send To>Document

Agent Server

Distribute the report using Document Agent Server,

which can also refresh, print and web publish reports.

1. Open the report in BusinessObjects, then select one of the following commands from

the File menu:

2. Specify the user(s) or group(s) of users you want to send the report to.

3. Click Send.

BusinessObjects sends the report to the users you specified.

BusinessObjects notifies users when they receive reports. The Retrieve From command

on the File menu lets users download reports from the repository to their PC.

Note: To send reports by email, select the Send to>Mail command on the File menu.
