Dear Experts
In our sale org there are several plants assigned. The requirement with my client is when the user is trying to punch in a sale order he should only be allowed to do the transactions that are related to his plant. I am not bale to find that authorization object in SU01 in order to restrict him for his plant only.
For ex if the sales org is ABC and the plants assigned are a001,a002,a003,etc then the user should only be allowed for a specfic plant at order level only.
Relevant suggestions will be rewarded.
Thanks
thanks Franck

Hi Sanjeev,
You are correct, there is no standard authorization object for the plant in the sales order.
IMHO it is a concept problem: The responsability of the sales order is from the sales guys.
Therefore the authorization object uses the sales organization.
Why do the plant people need to modify the sales order?
Can't they work with the delivery?
In the delivery there is an authorization object for the shipping point, better than nothing.
If they have to make changes in the sales order, IMHO they should request the changes to the sales guys who will decide if they OK with the changes .. or not.
Sorry not to have a better answer, but sometimes the best solution is through procedure change.
Best Regards,
Franck

YOu just ask your Basis consultant to do this authorization levels, he will be able to do this properly.
