SNP Aggregate Planning (5.1) - aggregated products on a translane?

25 Views

We're exploring aggregate planning in our APO network. I would appreciate the wisdom of the experts on this forum to help us in our design.

If I create an aggregate product, can I flow planned demand/supply for that aggregate product on a translane?

Here's the scenario:

ProductA and ProductB are both stocked at DC1, and customer orders for these products are fulfilled out of DC1.

These products are sourced from DC2 (DC2 --> DC1).

I choose to plan for these products in the aggregate. I create Agg1 (Agg1 = ProductA and ProductB).

When I create distribution demand over my planning horizon, will I see demand for Agg1 at DC2? Or do I need to disaggregate my entire horizon before I see demand at DC2?
