Mobile Webdynpro on Blackberry gives http 401 unauthorized error

Hi,

We have developed a mobile webdynpro application for travel and expense and when it was accessed previously in blackberry it used to render the application as it is supposed to both in simulator and the blackberry device .But after we did a support pack upgrade it started giving a HTTP 401 unauthorized to view this application please try loading a different page error.We didnt change anything during the sp upgrade .Please can anyone help us with this as i have been trying for the solution since a week.

update the service pack. and aslo check the Security Web Service

You can resolve the issue by installing the latest service packs.It can be a bug for the MDS authentication.

Thanks for the answer but if it is related to MDS authentication it should not work before the service packs.Also i get the same error when i try to access the page from the blackberry device.

Nope, i tried several ways and it didnt help.I finally opened a note with SAP.Will let you know if this works.

Hi carlos,

I used fully qualified domain name and it started working now.But now its prompting me for authorization multiple times which has been an issue.Let me know if you have resolved your issue.
