check the form attributes / language attributes in the smartform and check if the INTO ALL LANGUAGES radio button is selected. And when you login into SAP in EN ( default ) language, it should automatically translate

--> Translation

> Abap objects

-

>Other long texts

-

> FS Forms and Styles

-

>SSF SAP Smart Form

Then fill in form name , source language = FR, target language = EN.

The maintain translation.

Dear Readers,

I am able to see the text elements kind of things in the smartform (like &T_1ST_PIECE&), but how to proceed further and what to do next.

Please suggest.

hi,

once u enter the name of the Smart form and choose the source and target language

click on edit.

a screen with the smartform in src lang on the top opens.

at the bottom u have a editor.

select the text elem on the top and insert the translation in that editor.

hey the detailed steps are

1.goto se63

translation->abap obj->other long text->select ssf sap smartform->

give object name :YOUR SMARTFORM NAME

give translation are :999999 (abap system)

give src and target lang

click edit

on the top text elemt in english is disp.

on the bottom enter the translation for the text in editor

Now to assign a transport request for the above transaction, execute the program RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER.

Enter the target language,

click create new request,

Short Description for the transport request, object type as SSF.

Click on Execute.

Go to transaction SE09 and provide the transport request number:

Hi All,

I do have an issue while converting a SMARFORM using se63.

I was trying to convert my EN Smart form to FR (French) .

I followed the below mentioned steps ;

_Logged in EN (English)

-->>_Gone to se63

-->gone to translation->abap obj->other long text->select ssf sap smartform

-->gave the SMART FORM name

-->given translation are :999999 (abap system)

--> Source language (English) & Targe Language (French)

--> clicked on EDIT

when i follow these and click on EDIT i am getting this ERROR " Form or text yfipayment does not exis_t" (Message no. SMARTFORMS200). but actually the smarform really exists but its showing error as does not exist.

Then,

i *tried loggin in using FR (French)* and followed the same procedure and got

a warning saying "Objet non trouvé" (N° message SAPMTRAN010)

can anyone help me on this issue..
