Recurring inspection

Former Member

Dear All,

In standard SAP, Recurring inspection date is calculated based on the GR date and Expiry date is calculated based on the Manufacturing date. Due to this recurring inspection date is always afte the Expiry date, which will not generate the new inspection lots before the material expiries. Is there any way out in standard SAP to calculate Recurring inspection date based on the Manufacturing Date.

Is there any user exit for the above requirement?

Thanks in advance,

Pawan.

Dear Kumar

If your need is to have recurring inspection based of shelflife expiry date, you set up a job in QA05, and schedule it in SM36. You do not need to have any date in the "next Inspection" field in the batch record.
