Thanks that answers my question, but my requirement is:

I want to do cost estimation with versions, how is it possible?

I think I can use easy cost planning for simulation.

Is there better solution?

Hi

You need to do it by using CO versions. If you want to plan in more than one CO version (say, best and worst case scenarios), you must define plan versions before you start planning. If you only want to plan in one version, you can use the standard version (000) generated by the system when you create your controlling area. In the latter case, you do not need to plan any further CO versions

You can then compare the cost plans across the versions.

Hi,

As the link suggest, network costing is recommended. I checked system is allowing easy cost planning also. But I feel at planning stage, activity based costing provides more flexibility. You can make use of internal, external, cost activities to plan costs. For material costs use field 'Mat.planning' on assignment tab of activity.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Simulation version supports network based costing only.
