Thg SE38 driver RPCALCX0 execute it is displaying it dose not exist what should i try know
and when i am using control record i created monthly, weekly, fortnightly with different payroll area ,
In control record for monthly payroll period - 10-2008 i.e 1-1-2009 & retro active 08-2008 i.e 1-11-08
In control record for weekly when i give the same py period & retro active it is displaying different month, & same for fortnightly.
Pls suggest that i want to run py period from 1-1-2009 retro active from 1-11-08 how can i give the period pls suggest me
Thanks
If You are using internation payroll the program is correct one.
Go to SE38 and enter RPCALCX0 - execute
Payroll period
10 2008 if you use monthly and international or US payroll it gives October 2008 period
If you using monthly Indian payroll it is Jan 2009 As our financial year starts from April
10 2008 if you use Weekly and international or US payroll it gives second week of March 2008 period
10 2008 if you use Fortnight and international or US payroll it gives second half of May 2008 period
exact periods depends on the pay date also
Wam Regards
Hi,
Go to SE38 and execute the program RPCALCX0,
or you can use following tcodes - pc00_m99_calc (for live run), pc00_m99_calc_simu(for simulation run)
And, for payroll period query according to ur statement
'In control record for monthly payroll period - 10-2008 i.e 1-1-2009 & retro active 08-2008 i.e 1-11-08' - it seems like financial year starts from April.
In this case(FY start from April) if you have to run payroll with weekly payroll area, you need to enter 31/ 2008 period for 1.11.2008 and 40/ 2008 for 1.1.2009.
And, in case of Fortnight payroll area, you need to enter 16/2008 period for 1.11.2008 and 20/2008 for 1.1.2009
But if you are trying to run a forced retro then you can directly enter the date.
can you pls give a meaningful heading ...

Praveen
Hi
I want to run a payroll period from 1.1.2009 for monthly weekly fortnightly with the same date retro 1.12.08 pls let me know the date,
In the earlier reply u have given for financial year as on April , i should the run the payroll period on 1.1.2009 , retro 1.12.08 it for the country grouping 99 for saudi arabia
Thks
sneha
Hi Sneha,
Well i was not sure about your country, and even not sure about the Saudi arabia FY start date.
if it start from April,
then for weekly payroll area, you need to enter 35/ 2008 period for 1.12.2008 and 40/ 2008 for 1.1.2009.
And, in case of Fortnight payroll area, you need to enter 18/2008 period for 1.12.2008 and 20/2008 for 1.1.2009
General idea is calculate the no of days and devide by 7 or 14 for weekly and fortnight payroll area.
If there is any reminder thn add 1 in quotient
For monthly, you need to count the month only.
can you pls give a meaningful heading ...

Praveen
