Stock in case of Account assignment category F

Our requirement is that we want to do Procurement against a production order.

In Purchase Order the Account assignment category is u2018F--- Orderu2019 and we are

Giving the production order reference there in Purchase order.

I would like to know that can we stock an Item with Account assignment category

u2018F--- Orderu2019

Hi

Goods receipt for items procured with account account assignment category F will go to direct consumption. If you want to stock the items then better not to use F and do GR.

Hi,

I think you can do it

to set GR for this account assignment category check in Cusotmizing:

Material Management>>>Purchasing>>>Account Assignment>>Maintain Account Assignment Categories.

select the account assignment F

then set the indicator next the field "Good Receipt"

This setting is already there.But still it is not working.I am not sure weather sap allows this or not.

Brijesh,

Procurement for the Account assignment PO's can not be in Stock.It will automatically consumed to Order at the time of GR.

It will not go to inventory.
