Need help in deletion of object entry from Transport Request

Hello All,

As part of a clean-up activity I was deleting unused objects from development system. We are using a particular Transport Request for all the deletion. By mistake I deleted a Function Module which is still in use. Later when we realized our mistake I created the FM with the same name again(I had backup of the code) and captured in the same TR.

So, both the deletion and later creation of the FM is captured in our common TR used for deletion. When we move this TR to quality/production system, the FM will be deleted and re-created. As a result, we'll lose all the previous version history of the FM in all the systems and it'll act like a new development.

Since we don't want that, we decided to delete the FM entry from the TR manually and save the FM in a separate TR. But when I opened the TR in SE09/SE10 I can't find any entry for the FM in the TR, but there is an entry for the Function Group. But when I open the version of the FM, it shows the FM is currently with this TR.

Will you please let me know how I can delete the FM completely from the TR so that it won't be effected when we move the TR to higher systems?

Thanks,

Sariful

Please clarify.

You are searching for "deletion entry" (deletion of that FM) in transport request?

And at the beginning did you deleted FM or FG by mistake? Because you wrote that you see only FG entry there - and is it "FG deletion" entry?

The FM is a sub-object of the FG, as long as the FG is locked in a TR, you wont be allowed to lock the FM in another request (only in same task or another task of same request)

Could you consider using a transport of copies and not a workbench request?
