Material Supersession one to many (1:n)

Dear all,

I am using material supersession (PIC01 transaction) and I define supersession chain for one material to another. I have the case were one material is replaced by many materials and during PO I order a material and then it has to be changed to many.

How is this possible?

Moreover, how supersession is triggered during SD order?

Best Regards

Dear Alexandros,

how to use Supersession in APO system while gATP check (triggered from an SD order in ERP), you can find more information on SAP-Help:

https://help.sap.com/viewer/49dd58c18be2493b80f84359d659f4a4/7.0.1/en-US/dd41c95360267614e10000000a1...

Here you can find examples too.

The One-to-many substitution is part of the supersession chain.

Regards,

Tibor

Hi Tibor thank you for your answer,

Our system is not APO but S/4Hana 1709, however we have found how to trigger with ATP check the supersession. My worry is how to maintain the 1:n relationship.

Best regards

Hi Alexandros

Could you explain how to trigger with ATP check the supersession in Sales Order? We found creating chain master(PIC01). But when we make sales order, ATP checking didn't find new parts(although old parts stock is zero and new parts stock is enough).

Best Regards.
