Solman_setup transaction error

Hi all,

I am installing solution manager ABAP stack 7.2 SP2. I performed post installation steps i.e license, importing profiles, TMS configuration,OSS1.

I am trying to connect solman_setup then it doesn't connect to the url. please find the below error

ERROR: Make sure the web address FQHN:51000 is correct

Could please anyone suggest me to come out.

I think you have wrongly assigned the hostname - FQHN doesn't look like a hostname you'd like to use 🙂

Check what do you have assigned in profile parameter icm/host_name_full

in RZ10 icm/host_name_full parameter is not showing.in RZ11 it showing.

Check both profiles in RZ10. There is somewhere wrongly assigned hostname - change the FQHN to what your real hostname is.

The FQHN is correct I see icm/host_name_full parameter thorough SMICM goto--parameters----display

Then try to ping the hostname from your computer:

ping FQHN

If you won't get a reply, then the hostname is not known to your computer and you won't be able to connect.

You can manually associate the hostname to IP in the hosts file.

i have also same issue and unable to work solman_setup or sm_workcenter ?

i checjked the parameter icm/host_name_full, it showing black value in "current value"

i have updated all stustsso2 / smicm setting but still facing issue, any update in my case? please confirm.

Hi nilesh.v

You need to maintain the profile parameter icm/host_name_full in RZ10. Also please check if you have HTTP port configured at icm/server_port_<X>
