I have to create a copper rectangular bar for that every time different dimensions will be manufactured.
I need two help 1. How to create the formula in SAP for the following formula?
2. How to do different dimensions for same item?
Copper rectangular bar - 4mm x 40mm x 12ft
Sales Order quantity - 2MT (2000 Kg)
Specific gravity of Copper is 8
Die will be given to the shop floor person according to the dimension, the work man has to cut each bar at 12ft length when the bar comes out of copper continuous extrusion machine.
The calculation for no. of bars required is as follows:
No. of bars = Sales order quantity / Per bar weight.
No. of bars = Sales order quantity / (Vol. x Specific gravity of Copper).
No. of bars = 2000 / (4mm x 40mm x 12ft x Specific gravity of Copper).
No. of bars = 2000 / (0.4cm x 4cm x [12 x 12 x 2.54cm] x 😎
No. of bars = 2000 / (1.6 sq. cm x [365.76cm] x 😎
No. of bars = 2000 / ( [585.216 cubic cm] x 8 )
No. of bars = 2000 / (4681.728 gm/cc)
No. of bars = 2000 / (4.681 Kg/cc)
No. of bars = 427 bars
Result:
Kg per Bar = 4.681 Kg
Total no. of bars required for 2000 Kg is 427 bars.
Kindly help me how to map this scenario or the formula in SAP to calculate the above requirement.
In each and every order the dimensions will be changed.
Is there any option available to do the activities by keeping one item and changing the dimensions, if so kindly help me.
