WM Configuration

Hi all,

There is only one storage location in a plant in which WM has to be configured.What is the approximate time for the entire configuration to be completed?.Also,MDE will not be implemented,so what basic questions needs to be asked to the user for carrying out the implementation?

Hi,

The real time for making these changes in your case depends on the business process your client follows: You need to ask following questions, though not limited to these...

- there stock removal, stock picking process, to maintain search strategies.

- Their spatial arrangment of materials

- do they use just a fixed area from which good issue are done (in which case you can limit to lean WM, rather than whole WM).

Before you start asking questions, please get an undestanding of WM processes from SAP help.
