Sap pi ariba network adapter throwing error for ariaba sourcing adapter quote

Hi Experts,

My ARIBA receiver communication channel is suddenly showing errors. Channel is working but showing errors and message didn't reach to ARIBA as well.

Is that we need to do anything from PI side. I can see the message success in MONITOR and checked flag but it didn't reach to ARIBA because of this error in Receiver Comm Channel.

Could you someone give some suggestions on this?

Is the issue is anything with payload ?

We tried with multiple payloads with different data.

An error occurred when sending the document to Ariba Network Error: [[Code]: ERR205 [Description]: Send cXML to ARIBA Failed (Unrecoverable Error) [Message]: An unrecoverable error occurs when performing outbound transaction: [Request URL] https://service.ariba.com/service/transaction/cxml.asp [TimeStamp/PayloadID] null/null [Response Status Code] 400 [Response Status Text] Bad Request [Response Status Desc] Error:Numeric value required Please contact support with the Error Reference Number: ANERR-40000000000000000704539953 for more details] causes a XIAdapterException and can be retried

Hi Rajesh,

HTTP 400 error usually means the client sent some invalid data.

And in the response, it prompted "Numeric value required".

You can check the payload being sent - probably some value should be numeric, but it's not.

Now im facing with the latest errors in PI cxml Message Monitoring . Can you please find the error below & let me know how could i fix the issues.

Invalid Document:Attribute "matchingType" with value "AN" must have a value from the list "invitationOnly approvedVendorOnly public ". at line 3, column 950] causes a XIAdapterException and can be retried

Hi Rajesh,

This time it seems to be saying, in the payload, the matchingType attribute now has value "AN", but it should be "invitationOnly", "approvedVendorOnly" or "public".
