Hi Experts,

Can any body please address the following quries

1.what is the difference between C.M & ECM

2.Is it necessary to configure basic pay infotype as we are not implementing payroll.

3.what is the process flow in compensation management

Hi,

1. I think there is no diffrence in CM and ECM. CM stands for compensation Management in old version of SAP and ECM is Entrprise compensation management in newer version of SAP

2. Yes it is necessary to configure basic pay infotype in that case also if you are not implementing payroll
