QM Proc active indicator

Dear Friends ,

In material master in Qm view QM Proc active indicator is used for activating if the material is under inspection when there is new material or vendor this is what my understanding

Acutally i want to activate procurement inspection only for particular plant for example for plant A

so i decided not to use this indicator and i just maintain inspection type 01 for vendor material inspection process

just wonder what is the pros and cons of this indicator using
