Dear all

X material is purchasing from difrent vendor like A, B,C and D,i wanna do inspection of material from A and B and from C no need to do inspection and from D only visual inspection.plz tell me how to map it.

This holds good for automatic lot creation only. This will work for you. make the setting as siad by me

here is atomatic lot creation with inspection type 01

Dear Nirmala,

First you need to maintain Quality info record for all these vendor, material combination

1) For C to exclude from inspection - go to Quality info Record (Qi02)

1) Go to quality info record

2) Inspection control Tab

3) Inspection control > Maintain No inspection.

This will make the C vendor always skip

2) Now for A , B& C

1) Maintain 2 inspection plan. (QP01) - One inspection plan with all the inspection needed for A&B and another one with only Visual inspection for D

2) Go to task list overview

3) Select the inspection plan you have for A& B click on Material assignment

4)Group counter of A&B and D will be available.

5) against group counter of A&B put the material and put the vendor number of A

6) Againts the Group counter of C inspection plan put the material and put the vendor number of D

7) again input the group counter of A&B inspection plan and input the material and vendor number of B

Create the lots for A,B , C & Dand see the effect
