GL - COPA Integrated Planning

Hi,

I have maintained some planning data in COPA. I have also done the account determination of COPA value fields.

I have applied Integrated Planning ticks in the Fiscal year settings of Controlling Area.

However, when I run transfer of COPA planning to FI-GL, I am getting the following error:

"Due to the Customizing settings, no ledger will be updated

Message no. GI748"

Can anyone suggest how to resolve this issue?

    Dear Swapvik,

The error message GI748 is being issued by the FI module and it indicates that errors in customizing are preventing the transfer from occurring rather than a program error as I am sure you know already.

The main reason for the error you are receiving is due to the fact that the ledger is not assigned to the correct activity. This can be checked in transaction gcl2, where you can assign the activity and also create the suitable field movement.

Please see the following note in relation to this:

    • Note: 155884 GCL2: Activity cannot be assigned

I hope this helps to resolve the issue for you are at least point you in the right direction.

    Kind Regards,

    Brendan.
