serial number dulication accepting

Hi All,

Iam creating production order for material and released it and given serial number manually say 10 by going into header menu and saved . order created.

Again iam creating production order for same material and giving same serial number 10 it is accepting and order created. here same serial number two orders created.

my request is it should not accept same serial number , when iam giving same number it should not allow me to create production order at all and say the serial number is already used for another order.

Hi,

When a serial number is assigned to a production order, a system status transaction (PMP1) is used - when the assignment is deleted, PMP2 is processed.

Thus, it is possible to define a user status (which forbids a second assignment) and set it for the assignment.

Same serial number assigned to several production orders, when a serial number is assigned to production order, system status PMP1 AND PMP2 are used. so to restrict same Sl no assignment ,

In " BS02" T.Code for user status i have given below status and tried but unble to get succeed, still system accepting same serial number for multiple order. the following are the settings in BS02.

1 A Order Assigned 1 2

2 B Assigned Deleted 1 2

Business transaction No influence allow warning forbidden status

PP order Assignment u2022 u2022
