Multi-supplier Catalog

Hi,

We are implementing SRM 5.5. We would be using a catalog that is maintained and hosted by an external catalog broker. ie a multi-supplier catalog.

As in normal cases the catalog returns the vendor of the shopped material. How would it work in this cases. Also, should the vendor be maintained in our SRM systems.

Any poimters to this issue is appreciated ?

1. A vendor identifier is returned in the standard OCI-field NEW_ITEM-VENDOR., so you don't have to do anything extra about that.

2. The vendor should exist in the SRM system, so either give the broker a list of your supplier numbers or create a mapping in SRM using a custom table and implement BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER.
