Database Logon Error for Reports Previously Working

Using crystalreports.com with reports that use Salesforce as the data source. Suddenly today, reports that have been in cr.com for months and have not been modified are returning the error "The database logon information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect." This is happening with most of our reports. I've tried going into the document properties and updating the Data Connection user name and password, which has fixed this issue in the past but not today. I've also tried deleting and adding those reports again, still no go. The reports still run fine in the CR local application.

Strangely, some reports weren't affected by this, but as a test I've re-uploaded those same reports and the one uploaded today triggers the logon error, even though the same exact report that was previously uploaded to cr.com still works. So this seems to have to do with when the report was uploaded?

I have already granted access to all of Crystal IP ranges in Salesforce.

Given that this is something that was working and then stopped working without any action taken on our part, this is a bug and I need tech support from SAP on this.

Hi Jessie -- we've just been alerted to this issue. It seems to be affecting all reports with connections to Salesforce.com. We are working to resolve this ASAP and will post on the forums when it is resolved.

    Thanks,

    Pete Scholtens

    Hi

I too have started to experience this today. I presume it is to do with the IP addresses. Whatever the problem is its very frustrating and I would appreciate some help.

Agreed. People don't lose their jobs at my company either, but it can result in people not getting paid. These system issues come up every few months and the only option given to customers is to post on this forum, which just doesn't cut it for tech support. Forums are good for questions, not for reporting system issues.
