Contact Person

I created a contact person in BP in 'Person' with BP Role as 'Contact Person'.

I then assigned it under relationships head as a 'Has a Contact Person' to an organisation maintained in BP.

But now I cannot find the Contact Person details in any table including KNVK.

Please guide which table to find the data in or is there an entry issue. .

If you are looking for a link between a business partner and a customer - from table BUT000 with the business partner number you can get PARTNER_GUID, which you can use in table CVI_CUST_LINK to get the customer number. Use this with the data from table BUT051.

Hi Leonardo,

I understand that PARTNER 1 is the BP and PARTNER 2 is the Contact Person. But if we pick the Sold-to-party (field KUNAG) from table VBRK, it gives the customer number (the one that we get in Customer: General Data tab of BP - General Data) rather than the Business Partner No. as in Table BUT051.

I am looking for a table to establish a relation between these two numbers so that using the KUNAG from VBRK I can identify the PARTNER1 in BUT051.

Thanks Kıvanç and Leonardo! I found the contact person relationship in table BUT051.

The table gives relationship based on the Business Partner Number while the customer number is used in tables like VBPA and VBRK.

Which table or field can be used to link the customer number obtained from VBRK with the business partner in BUT051?

Hi,

Taking the concept that Customers are now BPs in S4Hana.

In the relationship table you may see two (2) fields regarding two (2) different BPs, that is to show those two Bp related to the Relationship (linked).

In resume:

  • Table BUT051 - BP Relationship: Contact Person Relationship

The [Partner] - PARTNER1 (field) => Customer/Vendor ... has a relationship with the [Business Partner] - PARTNER2 (field) => Contact Person.

l hope that clarify that PARTNER1 field is the field you are looking for!

Att, Leonardo de Freitas.

If l understood right you created a relationship based in a Contact Person!

The details related to the (Contact Person) you associated via relationship, you can see in the table BUT051.

l hope l could help!

Att, Leonardo de Freitas.

Vartika,

I do not have access to an S/4HANA system right now, but may have some recommendations regarding my experiences from BP transaction. Did you check table BUT000, BUT050, BUT100?
