The package types which comes under AdmnSetupInventory, what is the usage, where can I use that?

Hi,

This package type functionality can be used in your Sales Delivery document.

If you want to store in data base that any particular item is delivered by which packings and in each packing how many items are there then you can store it.

Plz follow the following procedure,

In Sales A/R, go to Delivery form. Enter the BP code and item code. then from main menu, go to ' GO TO' tab - Packaging.

when you click on that, Packages Setup window will open. And Item code and its stoch will be display on screen. You have to select quantity , and packages type in that screen.
