    Hi Vijay.,

Here VA01 is nothing but the transaction code to one Screen Program right?

So you can look into that screen program TOP include or PAI events to get all the tables list.

    Thanks,

    Naveen.I

I think Naveen had a point that as a developer often you don't know how to run a complete VA01 through all relevant screens for a ST05 trace, because you just don't know what data to enter. So it comes down to e.g. asking a functional consultant to do that.

This doesn't change the fact of course that peeking in TOP includes can only give you a part of the picture, especially as the TABLES-statement is on the way out, and ST05 is a much better way to achieve the goal of the OP (ignoring the tons of purely technical stuff that also shows up in the trace).

      Cheers

one option would be to turn on the SQL trace in transaction ST05, at the end you'll have a nice list with all the tables which were used (either read or written) during the transacion

    Hi,

Go to T.code ST05 and activate the trace, here u can see which are all the table used.

Generally if u go to any of the standard program there are some internal tables used starting with 'X' as naming conventions.

Those are generally called as communication structures.

So, u can see these kind of internal tables are updated into the appropriate D/B tables.

Like in VA01, XVBAP internal table is used which is called a communication structure. Using this the tables VBAP is updated.

    Regards,

    Phani.
