undeployment

Hello,

how can i undeploy using SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio Version: 7.0.15?

i have set up the J2EE engine properly and all states are green. deploying works too.

but i don´t find out how to undeploy?

Hi Martin,

With SAP NWDS versions less than CE or 7.1 the Undeploy function is not supported at the developer level. Hence, the said Deploy perspective and Undeploy View are not present in NWDS 7.0.15.

For Undeployment on SAP WAS server 7.0.x, one needs to use the SDM Tool, also called as RemoteGui tool available on the Server.

The error message that you have been receiving on NWDS CE is due to the fact that the Server that is defined as the Java AS is not WAS CE version but WAS 2004s, hence uncapable of undeployment at the developer user level.

Hi Martin,

Open the Delopy View (or Deployment ) Perspective , here u will find the Undeploy View console , where u will find list of deployed object .

select the object and click on button "Add to undeploy View " and finally undeploy .

hm, there is no Delopy View (or Deployment ) Perspective in SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio Version: 7.0.15. the only things that i found are the J2EE Engine View and the Deploy Output View.

Hi Martin,

Open The NWDS --> click on Window --> Open Perspective --> Select deploy (or deployment perpective) and add the components to undeploy view and undeploy the components from the server.

can u list the perspective present in ur NWDS.

yes in the SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.1 i can open the perspective,

but in SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio Version: 7.0.15 there is not such a perspective.

when i open the perspective, and klick on refresh on the undeploy view, there is this message: Function not implemented for SDM.
