SAP B1 User Limit

2754 Views

Hello,

A little background here, we've been using SAP B1 for around 10 years and our company has grown considerably in this time, since our original implementation we have roughly doubled our number of users. We're currently up to about 150 B1 users/licenses and we are targeting aggressive growth over the next couple of years. Our system is relatively stable currently and we've fought performance issues in the past with upgraded hardware but we have growing concerns with performance as we scale up.

I have been searching high and low and I can not find an official statement from SAP as to the the recommended limit for number of users that the SAP Business One system can support. We currently use SQL Server for our database backend, but are there different thresholds for number of supported users for a traditional SQL integration vs HANA integration? Does anybody have a link to an official limit from SAP. I've seen numbers in some older forum posts stating 50 or 100 users, but the posts were ancient and any source links were broken.

Thanks so much in advance!

Trevor
