    Hi Arun,

In product costing we calculate or arrive at standard price of the finished goods.

In this process we first calculate standard price in the system and do analysis on the price picked by the system is correct or there any difference due to any reason.

Once you are convinced with price you MARK that price in the system, so that no other user can disturb that price.

When you MAKE material standard price it is updated as future price in material master, once you RELEASE the standard price it is updated in current price from future price in material master in costing view.

This activity can be done through two Tcodes CK11N, CK24 & CK40N.

    Regards,

    Giridhar
