Batch History Index Table Update

Hello experts,

I have a question about [Batch History: Index Table Update] function. Program: RVBOBJTABUPO

What does the entry [From Date] do in this case??

Does that mean to update batch history from a certain date? (ex. if the date is 2018/6/1, then I only get batch history updated from 6/1 till today?)

Since I would like to set a daily night job for this program. Just wondering if I also need to set a variables for the date.

Why don't you consider to change from pull to push and update the history table synchronously with posting of the object?

And to your original question, of course you need a variant with a variable for the date, as in any other report.
