How to delete set status value for BP

Dear CRM Experts,

I would like to delete the set status value to BP. For instance, I have created one BP and assigned status value in the status tab. Later I realized that dont want to use those status value. I tried to delete the set status value, but system saying "User Status XXXX must not be deleted".
