Hi SDN,
When I try to create a collaboration room,it properly sends an email invite to all the members.
This email just says:
you have been invited to the following SAP Collaboration Room:
Room Name: CRM Team Room
Room Owner: Atanu
CRM Team Room is an active hyperlink and when I click it,it does not take me anywhere.
Can somebody tell me how can I customize the invite email such that a hyperlink to the collaboration room is sent preoperly, the link should work?
Regards,
Atanu
Dear Atanu,
If you want to make the rooms accessible from the Web address appearing in the hyperlink, you will have to specify the properties of the server used as the backend/portal system in the settings for rooms.
You can find some useful information here. Check out for this link

Hi Kedar,
Thanks for quick help.
I have changed the server name and port, other than that, please tell me whether the remaining part of the following URL correct?
regards,
Atanu
Dear Atanu,
There does not seem any issue with url. You will get this as a standard URL in every environment unless configured for HTTP. Usually for security reasons, the default protocol is set by SAP is HTTPS, and if SSL is not configured in your system, you will have to change the protocol to HTTP from HTTPS in your system.
Problem is not with URL but with the protocol you are using.
Let me know if you need any more inputs on this or solved the problem.

Dear Atanu,
Nothing much difficult. You can check the configuration in your index page by typing following URL in browser:
https://<host>:<port>/irj/index.html
You can check complete system information here. Also you can find the information regarding your protal system SSL. If it is not configured for your system then use the protocol http and select the existing (http) port from the above page.
I guess this solves your issue.

Kedar Kulkarni
