Hello Friends,
When i was running a script from the test configuration,i got an error which says
"Scripting engine obsolete".
"Installed scripting engine is older than the ecatt script".
What does this message say. I tried to get the answer for this in ecatt documentation but couldnt found
the reason.
Anyone who knows the answer kindly provide it.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Balaji,
This is the inconsistency between the local system SAP GUI patch with that of the original system patch in which the script was created. You will need to update your local system ( test system on which the eCATT is executed ) to a newest version of the SAP GUI.
Please upgrade the SAP Logon to a higher version ( say to a version of the newest script created in the test plan ) so that during the execution there will be no such pop ups. Ideal would be to SAAP GUI 7.10 and the latest patch level.
For this go to Start -> Control Panel -> Run Advertised Programs -> SAP GUI 7.10 Update
Hope this solves your Q.
Regards,
Sachin
