Hi Guys,
Is there a mechanism to copy data between models with SAC or is it export from one model and import into another?
Thanks
Graham
Hi Graham,
If you want to reuse some data in different models, you can use public dimensions:
If you only want to export/import the data, as you indicate, you can export data from the model:
And import that data into the new model:

Hi Julian,
based on your answer the only scenario to export data from one SAC model to another is:
- Export data from model A into file on file server
- Import data from file server into model B
Can you confirm this or are there other ways available in current release?
If above steps are the only option I´d have some troubles with this:
a) Export is limited to 100000 rows - not much!!
b) A file server conneciton need to be set up because only then a regular scheduled import is possible
I see especially a) as a serious limitation.
Curious about your feedback.
Regards,
Thomas
