Is there a way to find what program/transaction is used to post an inbound IDoc?

Hello Experts,

I hope you can advise on my dilemma.

Scenario:

We have background jobs scheduled to run RBDAPP01 and RBDMANI2 to process IDocs. However there are some IDocs that are stuck in status 51, some of these IDocs are then posted successfully either by the scheduled job (RBDMANI2) or by manually using BD87.

Now, I want to know what processed a particular IDoc and to determine whether it was posted via RBDMANI2 or BD87 or other transaction.

Is there a way to get this information?

Thank you in advance,

MJ

I imagine a background job would have a generic batch user ID and when a user runs BD87 it'd be under a dialog user. The user ID will be captured in the document. But I fail to understand why this is important.

May be for auditing exercise to track how many IDOCs are reprocessed manually.
