PM: add user fileds to task list

Dear experts,

can somebody please provide with a quick explanation (or maybe a written guide) on how to add custom fields to a task list operation? I have a requirement to create 2 custom fields which later should be copied to the order operation.

    Alexander,

    The standard option is to create a Field Key via the IMG (TCode OILJ), then make the assignment to the operations in the task list.

    This data is then automatically transferred to the associated maintenance order.

    You can rename the fields as required in IMG and also limit which fields are displayed. The image above uses the standard Field Key 0000001 which shows all the fields that are available.

    In a maintenance order only, you can utilise user-exit IWO10016 to validate the data entered by the user. (TCode SMOD).
