Hi William, it´s difficult to understand your question, but let me try to understand:

    1. You´ve created new Purchasing Groups, and you have one characteristic in your class that is something like Release Strategy_Purchasing Group

    2. You added the new values MANUALLY in CT04 (Values)

    3. Then you go to CL24N or CL20N and you can not see the new Purchasing Groups

Please follow steps mentioned above and it should work.

If Not, you can delete the characteristic in CL02 and create a New one, you will have to create all your strategies again, or recreate the same one.

Let me know if it works,

    GOOD LUCK !!!

    Hi

Can you let us know whether you are not able to enter purchasing group in release strategy classification or purchase group characteristic is missing?

Please check the release class assigned to group - whether all characteristics are correctly assigned to the class and click on characterisitcs to know what are the purchasing groups attached to it (p.grp characteristic). If purchasing groups are missing then add them to charateristic again and check the path once.

    Thanks

    William,

I am trying to understand your question, your question was not very clear.

If you are trying to add ANOTHER purchasing group to an EXISTING release strategy, (The result being more than one purchase group for the same strategy) try the following:

    > In CL24N, add another purchase group right after an existing purch group using a semi-colon seperator (no spaces) and hit the "Return" (Enter) key on your keyboard.

    > (Example: 032;033 with 033 being the new group) When you hit enter, they will both appear in seperate lines

    > Or you can select the drop down and enter the new purch group.

If You tried this and you still cannot add to it, then your Characteristic may be limited to a single entry. In this case, change your Characteristic to allow multiple entries

    > TCode TC04, on Basic Data view, select "Multiple values"

    I hope this helps

Have u created Purchase group as one Charecteristic and assigned Pur grp Values in CT04?

Some times Values maynot come into Classification tab then you need to log off the SAP and Log in again and try to Assign the Pur Grp values in Classification CL24N
